KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, to join our KPMG Technology Organization Organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical design and architectural leadership to multiple teams and projects to help ensure applications are integrated and adhere to stated architectural and design principles and standards
- Analyze and model big data (structured and unstructured data) using advanced statistical methods and implement algorithms and software needed to perform analyses
- Processing complex, large scale data sets used for modeling, data mining, and research
- Design and implement the service-oriented architecture to support the firm's application portfolio including the existing and new solutions
- Research, analyze, recommend and implement new technologies, standard processes, tools and techniques to further the firm's software solutions offerings to support the business
- Review business process and technical solution designs to help ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technologies
Qualifications:
- Minimum of eight years of experience in architecture and development
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Progressive experience in technology, application and information architectures and the delivery of applications in distributed processing environments, including relevant architecture experience
- Deep knowledge in cognitive, machine learning, natural language, and statistical analysis methods, such as classification, collaborative filtering, association rules, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, time-series analysis, regression, statistical inference, and validation methods
- Experience in application and software engineering, architecture and tools training or certification
- In-depth cross-domain understanding of the applicability of software solutions and off-the-shelf software
