Market Development
The firm's Market Development activities are a critical underpinning of our strategy. Our tactical approach stresses an industry focus and client-centric philosophy in all the steps necessary to build relationships with clients and targets across our Audit, Tax and Advisory practices.
Events & Meetings
The Events & Meetings department is committed to providing exceptional client service within a comprehensive range of firm-wide support services encompassing the planning and delivery of meetings, events, and trade shows.
Finance & Accounting
The Finance and Accounting (F&A) organization is responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, and analysis of the financial results of the firm; accounting policies and procedures; firm and partner taxes; firm-wide payroll; cash management; insurance; and financial systems application support.
Information Management Office
As the world changes and our technology advances, our clients expect us to consider all the information at our disposal when providing services to them. At the same time, clients and regulators are imposing tighter restrictions on how information is treated and protected. The Information Management Office (IMO) practices a “One Firm” approach to managing, protecting and leveraging information.
Integrated Operations Network (ION)
The Integrated Operations Network (ION) delivers quality, value-added, customer-focused services locally to the practices and national processes in a consistent, highly effective, and efficient manner. The foundation for the success of the Integrated Operations Network is the quality of its people and a single-minded focus on service excellence in the following areas: Office Services, which includes Office Operations, Facilities, Hoteling, Mail, and Reception; National Design, Proposal & Production Services (NDPPS); and Administrative Assistant Support Services. The Integrated Operations Network's team members deliver services locally with national direction and standardization.
Communications
The Communications team works to strategically position KPMG to powerfully differentiate the firm in the marketplace, inform and inspire pride in our people, and protect and promote KPMG’s reputation and brand.
Audit Quality and Professional Practice (AQPP)
The Audit Quality and Professional Practice (AQPP) delivers guidance and training to KPMG’s personnel and clients in the areas of accounting, auditing and regulatory matters. They consult with and advise KPMG professionals on rules, regulations and policies that guide the delivery of our Audit products in the United States. AQPP works with standard setters and regulators including: FASB, GASB, SEC, AICPA, and PCAOB as they develop new rules and regulations for our professionals.
Independence
The Independence group provides information and guidance to firm personnel that assists them in maintaining independence in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
Office of General Counsel (OGC)
As an integral part of the ethics and compliance function of the Firm, the Office of General Counsel (OGC) is responsible for the legal matters affecting KPMG's professional services. The highly experienced attorneys in their Litigation, Practice Advisory, and Transactions groups are available to assist our professionals in meeting the Firm's legal needs.
Risk Management
Risk Management’s focus is on improving quality, consistency, and the management of key risks. The organization is committed to ensuring that KPMG has consistent and balanced risk management policies and processes that our professionals can understand and support, drive quality performance, and enable us to manage our key risks.
Human Resources
The HR team develops, implements and manages integrated initiatives that drive KPMG's Employer of Choice/Partnership of Choice strategy. HR handles recruitment, retention, employee relations, and alumni relations, while also providing the benefits and services that help KPMG professionals enjoy rewarding careers.
KPMG Business School (KBS)
The KPMG Business School (KBS) delivers training that's based on the firm’s business priorities, reflecting real client needs across the firm, to a globally consistent level of quality. KBS is structured to fit in with the way individuals work, offering a blend of different training delivery formats including in-person classroom, virtual classrooms, on-line refresher courses, and Web-based training.
KPMG Technology
KPMG Technology is made up of a number of areas including Solutions, IT Security and Risk, Technology Services, Technology Operations, Technology Engineering and Architecture, and IT Management and Operations. Their mission is to deliver competitive advantage to our internal and external clients through innovative technology, services, and solutions. With over 1,200 people, KPMG Technology is focused on delivering technology to the business.
Global Services Centre (GSC)
GSC professionals oversee cross-border services development for compliance with internal global processes, risk management parameters, and quality standards. Our services center develops and supports a portfolio of products and tools, making GSC KPMG's worldwide center for audit, advisory and technology product development.
Tax Transformation & Technology (TTT)
Tax Transformation & Technology teams work directly with clients to implement technology, processes and controls that help transform business models and drive value within the tax departments; developing, implementing and supporting the technology that helps KPMG tax professionals effectively serve our clients.
