How it Works
- Who are KPMG Seasonal Talent Team Employees?
- KPMG Seasonal Talent Team employees are individuals with the skills and experience to provide valuable and quality support to our engagement teams and who work for a few months out of the year, typically at the staff level. It is expected that many of our Seasonal Talent Team employees will return each year, providing continuity and exceptional support to engagement teams while continuing to grow and develop their skills.
- What benefits are KPMG Seasonal Talent Team employees eligible for?
- KPMG Seasonal Talent Team employees are given an attractive compensation package (paid hourly), customized schedules, and an array of family resources including backup child and elder care, a comprehensive online database of child and senior care providers, and child care center discounts. Individuals are eligible to participate in the firm’s 401(k) plan. Additionally, employees have access to KPMG’s Perks at Work and discounts on a wide variety of services and products. Seasonal Talent Team employees are not eligible for holiday or personal time.
- Do Seasonal Talent Team employees need a CPA and must they comply with independence requirements?
- While a CPA license is not required for the Audit Seasonal positions at the staff level, candidates should be CPA eligible. Independence requirements are based on specific levels and should be discussed with the recruiter. Please review the qualifications and responsibilities for these positions in the job descriptions for which you are interested in.
- What training opportunities are available for Seasonal Talent Team employees during their off time?
- Seasonal Talent Team employees who have been asked to stay on in a recurring role will have the opportunity to participate in web-based trainings offered by KPMG Learning.
- Is there an opportunity for full-time employment once busy season is over?
- Seasonal Talent Team employees may apply for full-time opportunities which can be found by searching under Audit in the job search section of this site.
- Can Seasonal employees continue to have outside employment?
- Firm personnel are prohibited from engaging in personal for-profit business activities, as well as employment outside the firm with some limited exceptions. A variance may be permitted in certain situations, but will require pre-approval, in writing, by the appropriate Business Unit Partner in Charge (BUPIC), Risk Management, and the Vice Chair, Human Resources (or designee). Specific situations should be discussed with the recruiter.
