KPMG is currently seeking an Associate/Senior Associate in Financial Risk Management - Regulatory Risk for our KPMG Risk Consulting practice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide regulatory compliance advisory services to capital markets institutions
- Develop a trade control, surveillance and reporting testing tool, which is heavy in analytics and performance metrics
- Program in Oracle PLSQL and Linux shell scripting
- Develop procedures to analyze trade/order activity for potential regulatory compliance issues
- Develop summary reporting and analysis to be used by compliance supervisors
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Associate:
- Supervise and mentor associates, new hires, and interns on engagements
- Identify and communicate technical matters to upper management
- Assist with project planning, development of deliverables, and other technical writing exercises
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of experience as a database/oracle developer role with a understanding of electronic trading platforms
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
- Proficiency in Oracle PLSQL, Linux shell scripting, and SQL required
- Programing experience in Java/Python or some front end development technology desired
- Experience in a compliance/reporting for trading systems environment preferred
- Understanding of capital markets and trade cycle preferred
- Travel may be up to 80-100%
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Additional Qualifications for Senior Associate:
- A minimum of three years of related work and project management experience
- Well-established understanding of business dynamics and regulations
