KPMG is currently seeking an Associate/Senior Associate in Financial Risk Management - Regulatory Risk for our KPMG Risk Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide regulatory compliance services to financial institutions in the capital markets area
  • Assist clients with building and assessing their inventory of regulatory obligations
  • Assist capital markets clients with supervisory and compliance risk and control assessments
  • Support clients with internal controls testing
  • Identify opportunities for enhancements to existing policies and processes and related internal controls

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Associate:

  • Supervise and mentor associates, new hires, and interns on engagements
  • Assist with project planning and project management as well as development of deliverables
  • Support the practice by helping to build assessment tools

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a regulator or compliance practitioner, preferably as a branch examiner or compliance risk reviewer
  • Strong knowledge of FINRA rules and SEC rules
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize changing workloads to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Travel may be up to 80-100%
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Additional Qualifications for Senior Associate:

  • A minimum of three years of related work experience and/or project management
  • Well-established understanding of business dynamics and regulations
