KPMG is currently seeking a DevOps Cloud Admin– Healthcare & Life Sciences, to join our advanced analytics team.
Responsibilities:
- Build and administer instances and services in the cloud for Development, QA, and Production environments with a focus on data security
- Script, test and deploy new versions of environments and target infrastructures
- Support development and QA across various projects to satisfy their day to day needs
- Study and implement new tools for increased productivity, security, reliability and performance
- Develop tools and services useful in DevOps environments such as performance monitoring, security monitoring, deployment/configuration, continuous integration/build servers, and cloud resource creation scripts
- Create documentation of current and newly implemented environments with associated troubleshooting steps
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of development ops or systems administrator experience; preferably in cloud hosted environment
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud Solutions and architectures (Windows/Linux VM’s, Data Lake, HDInsight, SQL Database, Virtual Network, Azure AD); hands-on experience highly desired
- Experience with continuous integration and source control (Bamboo/Jenkins, Git/Stash)
- Basic software development skills/experience; scripting experience a bonus
- Depth of understanding with security concepts, protocols and configuration (authentication, authorization, encryption, PKI); knowledge and experience with administering highly secure environments would be a plus
