KPMG is currently seeking a Development Manager , to join our Tax Transformation and Technology Practice.
Responsibilities:
- Manage various software development projects for a key tax product line
- Practice standard development process leveraging agile methodologies such as SCRUM and TDD
- Work as a solution architect and manage teams as a scrum master by taking ownership of software architecture, quality, performance, security and scalability on software products
- Prepare and plan project timelines, estimates, staffing, scope, milestones and release software by collaborating with product owners, stakeholders, other teams and third party vendors
- Stay current with technology and improve technical knowledge and capability within the department
- Provide mentoring and guidance to team members and promote collaboration with other teams
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of experience designing and developing applications using .NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET VB.NET, SQL Server, WPF, WCF, and current version of Visual Studio
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical area from an accredited college or university
- Previous experience with client facing product development and delivery
- Experience leading a team of developers or prior experience as a solution architect with hands-on experience on architecting software solution for enterprise use
- Demonstrated leadership in technical analysis, design, and engineering of core business applications
