KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Cognitive Development to join our KPMG Technology Organization.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic and proactive responsibility for ensuring technology alignment with business objectives and the KPMG overall technology strategy
- Analyze and model big data (structured and unstructured data) using advanced statistical methods and implement algorithms and software needed to perform analyses
- Processing complex, large scale data sets used for modeling, data mining, and research
- Ensure effective project development, delivery of cognitive projects in production
- Develop solid business relationships becoming a trusted advisor with key leaders and stakeholders to proactively support business objectives
- Maintain relationships with vendors and professional organizations
Qualifications:
- Minimum ten years of experience in IT - systems analysis and application program development
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; Master’s degree from an accredited college/university is preferred
- Deep knowledge in cognitive, machine learning, natural language, and statistical analysis methods, such as classification, collaborative filtering, association rules, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, time-series analysis, regression, statistical inference, and validation methods
- Experience managing and directing systems development or systems maintenance project teams
- Ability to develop and execute multi-faceted business plans
- Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, presentation and negotiation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work; ability to foster the development of high performance teams; capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization; must be able to set and execute strategic initiatives for team.; creative thinker with ability to identify innovative business solutions; ability to develop strategic organization and resource plans, defining next generation business and leadership needs
