KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Cognitive Lab Operations to join our National Organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and guide coordinated tactical action plans of the infrastructure/operational functions supporting assigned practice, based on changing business needs, objectives and strategies, as provided
- Develop communication plans facilitating change management for national practice operations initiatives; identify and/or drive practice-wide initiatives or projects
- Analyze relevant practice metrics to ensure strategic objectives are met and make recommendations to leadership regarding strategic and tactical operational changes that can influence achievement of objectives; develop action steps to achieve optimal business results based on market trends
- Serve as the primary business point of contact for practice with national practice Business Process Groups on creation of the annual plans, including budgeting process, routine connection regarding budget changes, and provide guidance and approval as changes to budget/plan are needed; collaborate across practices and Service Groups in these operational areas, as appropriate
- Team with Human Resources on the process and delivery of annual Performance Management and Salary Review processes; team with Cognitive Finance and Accounting to provide financial support, including monthly and YTD analysis, creation of operating plan budgets, oversight of billings, mid-year and year end closes, review on P&L statements, expenses trends, T&E reviews
- Develop and drive internal communications, including annual partner meeting, monthly leadership calls, quarterly MSO
Qualifications:
- Minimum ten years of experience in one or more business related areas including Finance, Human Resources, Resource Management, Marketing or general business operations
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Prior experience as a direct supervisor for a staff consisting of different professional levels, including management
- Ability to work independently and provide guidance and strategic advice to executive level management across all practice operational areas
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Basic knowledge or experience with Microsoft Access, Customer Relationship Databases and Resource Management/scheduling tools
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical and negotiating skills required
