KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Financial Services for our Management Consulting practice.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple client service delivery teams in the active execution of engagements to help ensure compliance with firm and practice unit service delivery standards
- Utilize technical and financial operation/transformation knowledge to identify complex client issues, broaden client relationships, and develop a reputation as a thought leader
- Lead and support business development activities, such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities at clients
- Help lead advisory teams in solving complex strategic and tactical problems
- Build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery and networking in professional organizations
- Contribute to the development and evolution of methodologies and intellectual capital including contributing to articles, whitepapers, and training efforts
Qualifications:
- Eight years of relevant work experience with three years of experience in public accounting or comparable advisory services
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent from an accredited college/university; MBA from an accredited college/university, CPA, and/or other advanced professional credential is preferred
- Deep financial transformation knowledge within a core banking environment
- Strong understanding of Robotics and Cognitive Process Automation, Finance Process Optimization and Lean, and Enterprise Performance Management
- Progressive experience leading teams, mentoring staff, evaluating performance, and providing performance feedback, travel may be up to 80-100%
- Strong communication skills and ability to establish a rapport with clients and colleagues
