KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Financial Services for our Management Consulting practice.
Responsibilities:
- Define insurance-relevant client value propositions for increased operational efficiency, better information, enhanced client service and other drivers of value in addition to support the go-to-market strategy for the Insurance Financial Management services offering
- Charter and drive transformation projects that include aspects of change to processes, operating models, package systems, custom systems, data and integration components
- Drive an integrated solution design for transformation programs that include the business solution such as the roles and process, reporting, technology and data component
- Structure, staff, and deliver large-scale programs with teams that are a combination of client, KPMG, and other third-parties that are larger than $20+M per annum
- Demonstrate strong subject-matter experience with Business Change, Process, Technology and Data in specific domains of Insurance such as Underwriting, Claims Finance and Actuarial
Qualifications:
- A minimum of eight years of experience in at least one insurance vertical and deep experience in a core insurance business function such as new business, claim, operations, underwriting, product development, financials, or investments
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited college/university
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings and work with business users who validate project results
- Experience as a technical lead/architect or business/solutions architect responsible for large scale application design and architecture, preferably within the insurance industry
- Demonstrated record of driving design sessions and test case development
- Knowledge of insurance functional and technical architectures with an understanding of the end-to-end systems needed to support insurance functions
- Travel may be up to 80-100%
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
