KPMG is currently seeking a Director to join our KPMG Strategy practice.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee engagement delivery and support business development activities within our M&A Strategy practice while driving the completion of the team’s deliverables and positioning the firm to assist the client on additional projects
- Lead all aspects of project planning, team design, and progress tracking, while serving as a thought leader by leveraging data and advanced analytics
- Synthesize findings and recommendations of the various project work streams into a comprehensive and successful client deliverable
- Develop deep relationships with the client’s senior executives, enabling them to provide candid and valued advice throughout the engagement
- Help lead new business development initiatives targeting key C-Level executives and PE firms, proposing KPMG’s services and closing opportunities
- Participate in professional development of KPMG Strategy team members and assist with the recruiting and training of new staff
Qualifications:
- Minimum of eight years in an external consulting role providing advisory services in mergers and acquisitions, with specific experience providing operational performance improvement and M&A due diligence services to clients
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field; Master’s degree in Business Administration from an accredited college/university is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated deep performance improvement skillset, with the ability to develop strategic insights from profitability and other related analyses, including an understanding of operational due diligence and post deal value creation
- Deep domain expertise in financial analysis, business strategy, organizational design, and supply chain optimization to enable direction and review of the team’s studies
- Experience in project management including: planning, organizing, coordinating and managing staff, clients, and/or partners towards the successful completion of a project with a clear track record of leading cross-functional improvement programs
- Demonstrated experience developing relationships with senior clients in a professional services environment and ability to travel as necessary to serve our clients
