KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Forensic - Major Projects Advisory for our KPMG Risk Consulting practice.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development, implementation and integration of project management controls and project management information systems (PMIS) for major energy and infrastructure construction projects and programs
- Assess, review and troubleshoot project management controls for major energy and infrastructure construction projects and programs
- Conduct project reviews to evaluate percentage of completion, probability of recovery for change orders and claims, and reasonableness of the estimate to complete, schedule delays, defective specifications, and loss of productivity
- Manage construction contract audits, compliance reviews, implementation of project corrective action plans, and project oversight and monitoring functions for large capital projects
- Lead business development activities including targeting key clients, pitching our services, preparing client proposals and closing opportunities and work closely with other members of senior management
- Manage the engagement process from start to finish including field work, data collection, analysis, work paper documentation, supervision of engagement teams and communication with the client
Qualifications:
- Ten years of experience in project controls and PMIS systems in major energy and infrastructure projects
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Building Science, Construction Management, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited college/university; P.E, PMI, CCM, CPA, or other professional certification a plus
- Knowledge of project control areas including estimating, scheduling, contract oversight, reporting
- Hands on experience using and implementing project management information systems and project tools/systems such Primavera Enterprise©, Prolog©, Maximo© and other toolsets
- Experience using various project management tools like Primavera Enterprise©, Prolog©, Maximo© and other toolsets
- Travel may be up to 80-100%
