KPMG is currently seeking a Director to join our Washington National Tax (WNT) practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other offices of KPMG LLP to provide advice to their clients
  • Collaborate with other practice groups in WNT and work with KPMG International member firms
  • Review tax memoranda and tax opinions
  • Instruct internal firm courses related to compensation and benefits taxation
  • Review articles and other risk management activities

Qualifications:

  • Eight years of compensation and benefit tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation and/or law firm
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • Licensed CPA or J.D./LL.M. or Master’s in Taxation from an accredited college/university for non-CPA eligible candidates (Please note that any candidate hired by KPMG into this position that doesn’t currently possess one of the aforementioned credentials/designations will be required to secure one within one year from the commencement of employment)
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
  • Excellent advisory and compliance skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information
