KPMG is currently seeking an Engagement Set-Up Coordinator, to join our Business Tax Services Organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to partners and managers in areas of client and engagement set-up and acceptance
- Review and edit engagement letters
- Utilize research tools to obtain industry and financial data on new clients and engagements
- Obtain background checks, financial business reports and other relevant data as needed for client acceptance
- Provide guidance to engagement teams of risk procedures and direct teams toward the appropriate risk personnel in each situation
- Monitor and report status to engagement teams and assist with new client evaluations
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of administrative and/or data management experience; preferably within a professional services environment
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
- Strong internet research skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work overtime as necessary
