KPMG is currently seeking a Federal Practice Security Assistant, to join our Government Audit Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the U.S. government-required background investigation process for initial and periodic update clearances
  • Utilize the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) to process background investigations, visit authorizations, and visit requests
  • Maintain personnel security records in accordance with the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
  • Provide initial security briefings to clearance recipients and participate in annual refresher security briefings
  • Debrief personnel and manage all aspects of the clearance termination process

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of Federal security clearance experience managing data with working knowledge of the (NISPOM) requirements and Security Information Management Systems (SIMS)
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to complete training and obtain certifications required by the Defense Security Service
