POSITION AVAILABLE – KPMG LLP Manager, Advisory - Credit Risk, New York, NY (Multiple Positions) Perform risk assessment and strategic analysis of mortgage servicing assets, as well as model validation. Build cash-flow models for mortgage loan valuations. Define engagement requirements and develop internal risk policies. Determine valuation assumptions by benchmarking analysis. Review valuation reports. Utilize third party applications by conducting structural products valuation. Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of loan servicing operations, mortgage banking, and capital markets. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Commerce, Actuarial Science, Finance, Math, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Commerce, Actuarial Science, Finance, Math or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Must have at least 2 years of experience with the following: Regulatory guidelines on Mortgage Service Rights valuation and risk management as it relates to stress testing; Mortgage Service Rights assets and liabilities; Model validation and governance; Mortgage market dynamics, including the regulatory trends in mortgage servicing; Mortgage Service Rights modeling software, including MIAC, QRM, or LewTan; HAMP Loan Modification Programs; Mortgage products, including agency loans and non-agency loans; and Mortgage servicing operations, including program remittance requirements, investor reporting, loss mitigation, and default management.
