KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our KPMG Strategy practice.
Responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise-wide strategy focused Consumer/Retail Strategy engagements and manage the process from start to finish, including setting scopes, budgets, staffing resources, creating and coordinating final deliverables, and assisting with presentation of results
- Provide oversight of highly skilled client and KPMG work teams throughout the project lifecycle and help ensure timely execution of project deliverables
- Act as the day-to-day, full-time project manager to help ensure successful problem formulation, comprehensive analysis, and problem resolution
- Participate in continual development and publication of thought leadership and service offerings
- Support professional development of KPMG Strategy team staff
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of external consulting experience in a client-facing strategy discipline at a Big 4 firm, major strategy firm, or a boutique strategy firm, with a primary focus on serving Consumer/Retail clients in an advisory capacity
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field; Master’s degree in Business Administration from an accredited college/university is preferred
- Significant experience serving as an external consulting advisor in the Consumer/Retail industry to include experience in the following strategy consulting areas: transaction and business due diligence, pricing related marketing/sales strategy, performance and profitability improvement, strategic growth, or other relevant strategy experience
- Strong business acumen, with analytical and problem solving skills and ability to understand how business model decisions impact operating model design/execution across operations, technology, governance and organizational design
- Experience in project management and oversight, including supervising staff level engagement teams in the field and providing input into engagement decisions
- Travel as necessary to serve our clients
