KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, IT Communications to join KPMG Technology.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive strategic internal and external communications in support of the IT organization
- Highlight current and new technology offerings and all other aspects of the firm's technology platform and capabilities related to internal support and client-facing technology service offerings
- Participate in all aspects (creation, approval, distribution) of IT communications, including project communications (announcements, informational, user materials)
- Assist in developing and driving strategic vision for IT communications and marketing, employing diverse channels and approaches to articulate firm messages including employee intranet, KPMG's internal video network, employee meetings and internal events
- Act as communications track lead for firm wide IT projects requiring communications (including FAQs, [TC1] quick reference guides, installation instructions, etc.)
- Ensure all communications distributed on behalf of IT are prepared consistent with IT and firm wide communications guidelines, and receive the appropriate level of approval for distribution; and collaborate with various teams within the firm, aligning closely with the Corporate Communications team
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of experience working within a technology/large corporate communications environment
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience working with Information Technology is desirable, with writing experience in marketing and/or communications for technical projects
- Ability to translate complex content into clear, concise, creative communications for diverse media including print, electronic, video, and presentations; as well as strong executive counseling and project management skills with the ability to think strategically, deliver high quality products and manage multiple projects
- Experience with internal and external channels, including traditional and social media; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as internal communications platforms such as Workplace/Facebook
- Excellent partnering skills and collaborative approach across disciplines and functions; must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and team work
