POSITION AVAILABLE – KPMG LLP Manager, International Tax, New York, NY (Multiple Positions) Provide international tax services to clients in a range of industries. Address and resolve client tax issues. Research, write, and review client tax advice relating to domestic and international tax matters. Direct international aspects of outsourced and co-sourced compliance and other quantitative oriented international tax engagements. Monitor and convey to clients information regarding U.S. technical developments relating to the application of federal and international tax issues. Demonstrate in-depth accounting knowledge. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Master's degree or a foreign equivalent in Accounting, Law, Taxation, Business Administration, or related discipline from an accredited college/university and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or a foreign equivalent in Accounting, Law, Taxation, Business Administration, or related discipline from an accredited college/university and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Must have experience with the following: Partnership carry allocations; Fund formation documentation; Investment level US tax issues relating to Passive Foreign Investment Companies and Controlled Foreign Corporation rules; US tax principles including corporate funding, reorganization provisions, corporate distributions, and liquidation provisions; and ASC 740.
