KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate and individual tax services including planning, research, compliance, provision work, and mergers and acquisitions activities
  • Assist with new business development related to tax services mentioned above
  • Recognize, research, and recommend resolutions for moderate to complex tax issues with little or no supervision
  • Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that focuses on helping to provide industry knowledge and experience
  • Develop, motivate, and train staff level team members

Qualifications:

  • Five years of public accounting and/or corporate tax experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, J.D., or LL.M. (Please note that any candidate hired by KPMG into this position that doesn't currently possess one of the aforementioned credentials/designations will be required to secure one within one year from the commencement of employment)
  • Fluent in both English and Japanese
  • Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters, including provision and advisory experience and working knowledge of the application of FASB 109
  • Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information
  • Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
