KPMG is currently seeking a Market and Technology Insights Manager to join our Global Services Center Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Director of Research, support implementation of a new strategic innovation research function
  • Develop detailed market and competitive intelligence/research insights/reports for KPMG’s Advisory Innovation group
  • Integrate with KPMG internal research teams and practitioner networks to translate market research into actionable insights for KPMG Service Groups and Industry Practices
  • Conduct regular technology scanning and analysis via implementation of a new market assessment / watch capability
  • Translate and develop disruptive technology insights for KPMG’s Advisory Innovation leadership group
  • Support execution / build-out of a new market sizing capability to support all KPMG Advisory investment business case development

Qualifications:

  • Five years of experience including two years of professional market and technology research experience preferably within a professional services / consulting firm
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; Postgraduate or Master’s degree from an accredited college/university is preferred
  • Passionate about innovation with a good understanding of technology disruption and its likely impact on business/economic/policy/regulatory issues; knowledge of Bay Area tech start-up landscape is a plus
  • Proven ability to construct compelling data-based market trends analysis
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative research skills; advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills
