KPMG is currently seeking a Release Manager, to join KPMG Technology Organization
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive consultation to both business unit and IT management and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of the project development cycle
- Provide day to day technical administration including upgrades and release management, analyze log files, configure file changes, installation and configuration documents (runbook), upgrade validation/testing, change control, and technical issue/problem resolution
- Oversee the maintenance of appropriate project technical documentation including design, configuration, and installation; oversee the development for custom applications
- Act as an expert technical resource to staff in all phases of development and implementation process; may lead a small technical team
- Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost effective solutions for the systems design, while providing a solution that meets the business' strategic objectives; include the integration of existing code-sets and/or components as part of the overall design solutions where practical
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of experience as a technical development lead on medium to large size application development projects
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Strong understanding of the development and release processes in ServiceNow, including experience with Team Development
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of ServiceNow configuration and development; experience tracking work through ServiceNow SDLC Scrum/Agile Development module
- Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority
- Demonstrable experience with Release Management in ServiceNow, including packaging releases at the end of each sprint, publishing release notes detailing content of each release package, and preparing and using production release checklists
