KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Tax Transformation practice.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Tax business teams to identify and analyze business problems, develops technology solutions leveraging one or more digital technologies (Process Robotics, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, etc.)
- Lead small development teams in hands-on manner and provide technical oversight on projects
- Identify risks in the development and deployment phases, and create development and deployment plans
- Review and analyze business requirements and provide technical feasibility and estimates; guide development teams in unit testing process, test and troubleshoot applications
- Interface with internal stakeholders and external clients
- Work effectively with various technology groups, clients and tax domain experts; Work with Digital Labor team to lead/assist with automation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or foreign equivalent (Master’s degree preferred) in engineering, computer science, information systems, management information systems or related fields, plus three to five years of experience
- Strong programming and OOP basics; Basics of .NET (C#) and .NET framework application development; Basics of a scripting language (JS/ VBS/ JavaScript)
- Proven experience with programming on one or more languages - preferable in .NET (C#)/ Java / R / Python / SQL; SQL data/Excel manipulation and querying skills
- Ability to analyze, understand business problems and express it in UML or other modelling language
- Experience with automation technologies (Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, WinAutomation, UiPath, etc.) are preferred
- Adaptability and flexibility and willingness to shift between roles; Ability to interface with internal stakeholders and external clients
