KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate in Financial Management for our Management Consulting practice.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Modeling, for example, develop forecasted financial baselines, business case decision models, customer financial models, and financial evaluation methodologies and tools
- Perform detailed financial analyses and summarize results in support of client engagements on new business models and operating models
- Project Management, for example, develop and manage customized project plans to help ensure that project timelines and deliverables are completed on time
- Client Finance Function Operating Model Design, for example, help execute financial and accounting process improvement(s) associated with finance processes, such as: budgeting and forecasting, financial close and consolidation, management and financial reporting, cash management and program accounting, working capital management, shared services, and/or financial transformation
- Active participation in the development of business requirements for product and industry topics listed in above bullet
- Perform financial/controls transformation initiatives or process mapping in areas that include procure to pay, order to cash, plan to perform and close to report business cycles
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of combined advisory or relevant industry experience in financial management and an understanding of complete financial analysis process
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance from an accredited college/university; CPA is preferred
- Experience in the development of proposals, deliverables, and reports
- Experience in business process reengineering, business process outsourcing, financial services analysis, or data analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to eighty percent of the time
