KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Global Services Center Tax Organization.
This job can be located in Montvale, NJ, New York City, Chicago, Short Hills, NJ, Washington DC or Richmond, VA
Responsibilities:
- Work closely and coordinate with business owners and service line, national, global, area, and cross functional leaders. Understand the business strategy, goals, priorities and actions and help execute against strategic priorities. Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels and across functions
- Help develop, manage, and execute programs that support strategic initiatives
- Support project activities by working closely with technical and business process resources to manage, develop, refine, and catalog content, such as go-to-market materials, trainings, technology enablers, technical research, engagement tools, newsletters, distribution lists, collaboration and portal sites, etc
- Schedule and help facilitate meetings, workshops, and internal events. Prepare agendas, participant lists, meeting minutes, and communications including presentations, announcements, thought leadership, slip-sheets, and other collateral
- Effectively manage and collaborate (often virtually) with people who have a variety of skills and backgrounds, including leadership and delivery professionals, sales teams, knowledge management, IT, marketing, communications, F&A, risk management, and various professionals at all levels
- Develop periodic and ad hoc reports to summarize project accomplishments and issues, offer recommendations for leadership and key stakeholders, and track revenue, wins, losses, and client opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of related experience in tax, advisory, project management, or client delivery within a professional services or similar environment
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and time management capabilities; ability to multi-task, work independently, as part of a team, and under direction
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- Experience successfully working with senior management and stakeholders
- Ability to travel up to twenty-five percent
