KPMG is currently seeking a Sr. Associate, MQ Administrator to join our KPMG Technology Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain IBM MQ and other middleware platforms
  • Interact with a number of support teams and vendors to analyze and resolve issues
  • Effectively coordinate support escalation communication
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of appropriate project technical documentation including design, configuration, and installation guide
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new software developments; participate in the evaluation of alternative approaches or modifications to enhance operations and development activities
  • Provide on-call 24/7 support for Middleware products

Qualifications:

  • Three years of experience administrating IBM MQ, MQ Channel configuration using different transmission protocols
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with MQ publish/subscribe model, MQ distributed queuing techniques and patterns, MQSC command line, and MQ Explorer
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2, Red Hat Linux, TCP/IP, CIFS, and scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
  • Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and team work
  • Ability to positively influence, mentor, and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members
