KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, .Net Application Administrator to join our KPMG Technology Organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide installation, upgrades, maintenance, monitoring and support for custom .net application
- Perform backup, recovery, restore, replication on custom .net application
- Install and manage applications and dependent components, including packages that utilize IIS, Microsoft Reporting Services
- Monitor application and take corrective action to prevent or minimize system downtime
- Triage and Troubleshoot incidents to resolve application incidents. If necessary, co-ordinate with third party vendors and development teams towards a successful issue resolution
- Develop and maintain run books, architecture diagrams, maintenance plans, and other platform related documents
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience in administrating Web and .NET based applications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
- Solid understanding of Microsoft technologies including .NET IIS and reporting solutions; solid understanding of SQL Server administration and middleware technologies like ESB and MQ series
- Experience in configuring, working and troubleshooting with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), Active Directory, Kerboros; experience in troubleshooting performance issues on Microsoft server 2008,2012 and SQL server 2008,2012
- Must have experience with end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management and escalation processes; experience working in a production support environment providing On-Call support, including off hours and weekend support as necessary
- Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and team work; ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members; US Citizenship is required
