KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Tax Transformation practice.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Tax business teams to identify anomalies, trends and derive insights in large volumes of data to support Tax Planning, benchmarking and other initiatives
- Perform explanatory data analyses, generate and test working hypotheses, prepare and analyze historical data and identify patterns and communicate findings via visualization tools
- Work effectively with various technology groups, clients and tax domain experts
- Create Key Performance Indicators / Dashboards to measure results of predictive models and datasets with appropriate visualization for structured and unstructured data as well as big data.
- Work with Digital Labor team to lead/assist with visualization
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of experience with SQL data/Excel manipulation and querying skills
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or foreign equivalent (Master’s degree preferred) in engineering, computer science, information systems, management information systems or related fields
- Data Visualization using tools such as Powerview, Qlikview, Tableau or D3
- Digital and/or interactive graphics, data visualization, data mining and data analysis
- Statistical methodology and data management concepts
- Knowledge of current trends in the market for data mining and visualization tools
