KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Training and Communications to join our Independence Organization.
Responsibilities:
- Acquire knowledge related to auditor independence regulations, including those established by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
- Function as technical writer, instructional designer, and/or content developer
- Create and edit content for training programs, policy documents/guides, and internal communications
- Help define and manage the rollout of training and communications plans
- Build and successfully manage relationships with colleagues and stakeholders from myriad of KPMG groups while also serving as point of contact for resources from stakeholder groups
- Participate in knowledge management, stakeholder collaboration, and facilitation of knowledge-sharing
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of technical writing, instructional design, content development and/or related experience; preferably within a professional service firm or similar environment
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s or JD from an accredited college or university preferred
- Experience performing research, obtaining and learning information from subject matter professionals, translating complex information and writing consumable material such as technical, training program, and/or policy content
- Self-starter with intellectual energy and curiosity, critical thinking, analytical, and research skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships, juggle multiple projects simultaneously, work independently and with team members, handle competing priorities, and participate in diverse initiatives under tight timelines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
