KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Developer, to join our Data & Analytics team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, construct, implement and support client-facing software that meets the business requirements
- Perform software construction, unit testing and debugging; software construction may include the preparation of new software, reuse of existing code, modification of existing programs, or integration of purchased solutions
- Prepare non-functional and functional prototypes as needed
- Work with Business Analysts, Project Leaders, and Data Scientists to review the business requirements and prepare technical design documents, which may include extended use cases, class diagrams, collaboration diagrams, sequence diagrams and detailed hardware specifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum four years of experience as a VB.Net or C# developer with solid production Client/Server development experience and three years of production development experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2008 or newer), T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and Dynamic SQL
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Production development experience with Microsoft development tools, such as ASP.NET, Visual Studio 2005/2008, 2010, Team Foundation Server, and .Net Framework (v. 3.5, 4.0) and Azure cloud; experience may include C#, ASP.NET, XML, XSLT, HTML5, CSS3, ASP.NET, Javascript, AngularJS, jQuery, IIS, WCF, Entity Framework, AJAX, and Windows Server
- Experience with highly scalable/distributed processing architectures and solid experience in code optimization and high performance computing
- Experience with developing big data and data and analytics platforms a plus, including Hadoop, R, and Linux-based technologies
- Strong knowledge of Agile (Scrum) software development methodologies and leading practices is preferred
