KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate go-to-market efforts through networking with internal KPMG relationships in order to arrange external client meetings
- Generate incremental revenue from new fixed asset engagements
- Coordinate multiple fixed asset projects and interface with client personnel located in Dallas (and other areas of the U.S. Work), with KPMG Partners and staff in Dallas, and other offices on large engagements
- Oversee production of deliverables, reports, and updates of analyses performed
- Supervise and mentor staff
Qualifications:
- Six years of design and construction experience with a bachelor’s degree in construction management, real estate, architecture design, or engineering from an accredited college/university; Big 4 accounting firm experience working with multiple clients preferred
- Licensed CPA or J.D./LL.M., and one of the following designations: AIA, PE, LEED, SIX SGMA, MBA, MCM (Please note that any candidate hired by KPMG into this position that doesn’t currently possess one of the aforementioned credentials/designations will be required to secure one within one year from the commencement of employment)
- Strong MS Excel/Access skills and the ability to review calculations for large data sets (approximately 400,000-500,000 line items)
- Ability to have in-depth technical discussions and lead meetings with the client’s Tax Director, CFO, and real estate/facilities officer
- Experience working with fixed asset depreciation reporting and/or fixed asset reporting software
- Ability to travel ten to twenty percent of the time
