KPMG is currently seeking a Sr. Associate, Network Operations Security to join KPMG Technology Group.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support on many complex projects and tasks performed by the Network Operations team, including interfacing with customers
- Perform installation and testing of all new software releases, and fine tune existing systems; provide ongoing maintenance for network hardware/software, appliances and vendor coordination
- Maintain documentation of guidelines and standards for specific technologies
- Participate in project work and troubleshooting related to KPMG Network Operations while assisting in monitoring performance levels and trends throughout the firms network to determine quality of service for the entire infrastructure
- Configure, maintain and troubleshoot networking solutions for an enterprise class firm, including support ticket handling, change management and “on call” coverage
- Troubleshoot and support Cisco routers and switches including Cisco Nexus, F5 Networks LTM, Cisco ACS, IPSec VPN, Cisco wireless network platforms, Riverbed WAN optimization and Raritan out of band access technologies; provide guidance and feedback to outside contractors/vendors as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of experience supporting enterprise network IT infrastructure
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Cisco Routers, IPSec VPN, F5load balancers, Cisco ACS, Riverbed Steelhead appliances, Amazon Web Services Cloud, TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, MPLS, EIGRP, BGP, HSRP, FTP, SFTP, STP, RSTP, TACACS+, ACS, RADIUS, SNMP, network monitoring and reporting
- Hands on experience with IP sub netting, Telnet/SSH Clients, Raritan or Terminal Server Remote Access, Service Now Ticket Handling System, COS, VoIP and MPLS technologies, and Cisco network software (COS/IOS), inventory/maintenance tracking and vendor support case handling
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Visio for network diagramming and documentation; familiarity in an ITIL environment is preferred
- Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and team work
